The eyepiece telescope is one that requires the use of single-eye piece that acts as a magnifier of the image plane. Most eye pieces contain enough relief to accomodate someone with glasses. If you are unsure of how the eyepiece will fit on a telescope you are interested in, you should try it out first in a store. Most optics stores will let you test out a telescope if you express interest in purchasing it.
